Dealing with a life change, serious illness or traumatic experience

At times of difficulty or confusion sometimes all that is needed to feel more able to cope, is a quiet and confidential ‘place’ away from family and friends, to talk and feel understood.

Change and Personal Growth

It is hardly surprising that most of our time together will look at relationships & how you experience & relate to others( and of course yourself !  )

This is why the 'therapeutic relationship' can offer such unique opportunities for self discovery, insight & personal growth

In each session, you can begin to explore & express new ways of relating- in effect giving yourself new permissions to change.

As we begin on this journey, we will agree on your Road Map for Change -  where you are going - how will you get there & how you will know when you arrive !

You can choose!

My role is not to change you, but instead to offer you a space to understand more clearly your relational story ( this includes with yourself ! ) and how it may continue to be unhealthy, limiting and painful........and then from a position of greater clarity and empowerment , begin to open to a relational story of emotional depth, joy and meaning

Surprised

As we look together at the reasons for you seeking counselling, you may well be surprised to find that other difficult or confusing feelings rise to the surface - feelings that may have been neglected or avoided.

Now is the perfect time to give them a place to be heard & acknowledged.

It is from a new place of insight & awareness that change can follow.
